First time I came here was because my ac was blowing warm. Got a recharge, cost 100 bucks. Lasted a month. Came back, was told my compressor wasn't working. Left my car there for a week. Was told they replaced the compressor, but it still wasn't working so they were going to do electrical work at another shop because it's the relay. Worked for 1 day, and somehow they put 40 miles on my car. Brought it back, Julian said that the electrical guy didn't do his job. Chuck sent me to the electrical guy down the street to fix the issue he paid him to do. When trying to talk to the electrical guy about it, he is upset because I'm asking when it can be fixed because I have to get to work and needed to make arrangements. This man was legit screaming and cursing at me - probably because I'm a woman. I just left with my car at that point. Chuck gave me 120 back of the 1200 I gave for a unfinished fix. I work on my own vehicle, but didn't have the equipment for the ac, which is why I brought it here in the first place. I thought they were honest. GUESS WHAT? I purchased a relay from ebay because they don't make my car anymore. I got a mechanic recommended by a friend to install it after I told him this story ^^ Relay wasn't the problem.. There wasn't any freon in the system! That's why the compressor didn't work. I spent 1200 for something completely unnecessary. Found out that there's a freon leak in the evaporator core. I CHANGED OUT MY OWN EVAPORATOR CORE. And got it charged, working ever since. If you know where the evaporator core is located, you will understand how upsetting it is to have the compressor replaced for 1200.. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. For years we've been bringing our vehicles to Chucks Auto for AC repair. I've always been impressed not only with the service but with their integrity. At times when he could have done an "upsale" for work I didn't need, instead he just said I didn't need it. Lol Who does that these days? Appreciate this business!!
