The evaporator replacement itself appears to have fixed our A/C issue, so I want to give credit where it’s due. However, immediately after getting the vehicle back, a warning light related to the key/antenna system appeared that had never been an issue before. My wife brought it to their attention right away. The code was cleared and we were told it seemed fine, but after getting home and restarting the car the warning came back. My wife then took the vehicle back a second time. We were told no codes could be found and were given possible explanations including that it could be the key fob battery. At that point I ended up buying my own scanner, running diagnostics myself, and troubleshooting the issue personally. After removing the dash, I found a disconnected cable. The most frustrating part wasn’t the repair itself — the A/C seems to be working — it was the lack of ownership and follow-through after a new issue appeared immediately after the repair. When you spend this amount of money, you expect concerns to be fully investigated rather than having codes cleared and being sent home. My frustration was that a warning light appeared immediately after a repair that required dashboard disassembly, yet after two follow-up visits the issue was still unresolved. Found my mechanic!! Came in for a check engine light emission system leak detected. Esteban got to work very quickly. Diagnosed and found the problem. Explain and show me where the leak was and the process of fixing it. A+ mechanic! Also recommended what else the car needed based on my mileage. Very nice and clean shop! Very nice staff!
