View on GoogleI’ve been a loyal customer since 2014 and never had a problem when I brought my Toyota to you. But my recent visit with my Subaru was a completely different experience, and I’m very disappointed in how the situation was handled. I came in to have my tires serviced. I understand using an impact wrench to remove lug nuts, but using it to tighten them back on is not acceptable. Lug nuts should be torqued properly with a torque wrench, not over-tightened with an impact gun. Because of this, three of my lug nuts broke off when trying to remove them later. When you jabe a flat tire it shouldnt be so hard to take off. I brought this to your attention, and instead of taking responsibility or even showing concern, you said it wasn’t your problem. You didn’t even offer to help or say, “If you get the parts, I’ll fix it for you.” Nothing. You just brushed it off like it didn’t matter. That response was honestly very upsetting, especially from someone I’ve trusted for over 10 years. We confirmed that an impact wrench was used to tighten them down. If the studs were already weak, they would’ve broken back in February—not months later during regular removal. I’ve been driving for years, and this has never happened to me—not even with my dad’s 19-year-old car. Sadly, because of your response, you’ve lost me and my daughter as customers. I expected better from a business I’ve supported for so long.

While it’s okay to use an impact wrench to remove the lug nuts, it should not be used to tighten them back on — that’s what a torque wrench is for. Unfortunately, they used the impact wrench to tighten the lug nuts, and it was done way too tight. When I tried to remove them later, two lug nuts broke off. I explained what happened, expecting at least some accountability, but he just brushed it off and said it wasn’t his problem. That’s not how you treat customers — especially ones who’ve trusted you for years. And based on what I’ve heard, this kind of thing has happened to others too. Instead of owning up and trying to make it right, he just didn’t seem to care. Really disappointed.
