I had a great experience here and highly recommend this shop. I brought in my 2016 Acura ILX, and they were extremely helpful from start to finish. The owners are genuinely kind, patient, and honest — you can tell they really care about their customers. If you’re looking for a trustworthy Japanese auto repair shop or import car mechanic, this is the place. They clearly know their way around Acura and other Japanese vehicles, explained everything clearly, and never tried to upsell or push unnecessary work. The turnaround time was very fast, the quality of the work was excellent, and the pricing was fair. It’s hard to find an honest auto repair shop that does great work this efficiently, especially for Japanese cars. Highly recommend for anyone needing Acura service, Japanese car maintenance, or reliable auto repair in general.

Southport Auto Repair is a small, family‑run business you want to support. They’re honest, straightforward people with excellent communication from drop-off to pick-up... I decided to write this review after the son, Costa, called me a few days after I had picked up my Volvo just to make sure everything was running well before the Memorial Holiday weekend~ That level of care is rare is pretty these days.
View on GoogleThe staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. I needed maintenance and minor repairs to car which they quoted for a reasonable price. They noticed and informed me of my balding tires; after some research their tire prices were pleasantly competitive and reasonably priced. All in all, this is a great shop! Thank you so much again! They also have some kitty assistants to help.
View on GoogleThis people are disrespectful and gross, the guy "Jhonny". I walk in the shop and this dude chewing on a dental floss stick.. greets me with.. -what you want! I say - I wanted to know if you can look at my car for some repairs that I am interest in doing. Rudely continuing chewing on his stick tells me that thing is to old I can't get parts for it. I say -There is a world of parts in the Internet for this vehicle and he goes yes but not here. I told him I didn't expect him to have them in stock but keep on doing what he's doing and have a great day. How uneducated and rude people are these days. ZERO customer service.
