I started having problems with my car overheating. My friend recommended Max and he came quickly and assessed the car. Together we discussed the various options to fix or repair or sell and decided that the best decision would be to replace the engine. Max helped me find a replacement with low miles and we ordered it from the website. He explained everything from start to finish, asked me questions and recommended some services that he could do to bring my car up to speed. At no point did he pressure me or make me feel like it wasn’t my decision. He always explained. Once he took out the old engine, he found that my car that I had purchased from Car max had a much older engine than what I was sold, which was a surprise, but also made sense as to why the car was overheating and engine was blown. He replaced several parts and sent me videos along the way explaining the process and discussed everything on the phone. You can tell that working with Max he loves his craft. He finished the work in the time he said and cleaned up everything under the hood and made it look pristine. Like a brand new car! Working with Max turned a bad thing into a positive. Not only did he extend the life of my car, like another reviewer mentioned, instilled my faith in humanity. He took time out of his schedule to drop off my car and even offered to help pick up a friend from the airport. Max you are a gem of a person. It is rare to find a mechanic that is so honest and dedicated to what they do. When I saw finished work I was amazed. So grateful for this experience and for making what is seemingly a stressful situation into a positive experience. Thank you Max!!

How much it would be for repairs with labor. He could have said he would have done it and pocked money, but with the issues with the vehicle there may have been other issues once under the hood. Loved his honesty. Definitely keeping his number as well as letting people know about him. Highly recommend him.
