I have been taking my cars to General Auto for over 15 years. Even after moving up to Palm Beach County I still drive down to Coral Springs to get my cars serviced. They are honest, reasonably priced and do the work right the first time. You'll find no better service center for your cars. I heartily recommend General Auto.

They come at you very friendly, saying they will take care of everything. I specifically knew what had to be done and told him ahead of time , to patch the tire, they did not inform me the price before, I didn’t ask either, but it’s usually around the same price everywhere, when I come back to get the car, I was charged basically $40 per tire, which is almost a double of a patch. Should’ve realized it when I walked in and the room was full of women or elderly women. Those are the type they take advantage of. Would not recommend, ladies ask and research prices, tire patch should not be more than $25

I was quite surprised when I went to get my tires rotated and the two front tires were split. I had purchased these Goodyear Tires from General Tire and was told that the splitting on the tire was not covered under warranty. After contacting Goodyear directly I was told that yes, split tires are covered under warranty. Goodyear directed me to the Goodyear shop in Southwest Ranches where my tires were protated and replaced. 3/14: I did recieve a response from General Tire which read "please contact them so they could address my concerns." My concerns were my split tires which they siad were not under warranty. I will not contact them or use their services any more. I lost trust in that shop.

I had previously brought three of my own vehicles to General Auto and Tire for routine maintenance and had positive experiences, which is why I recommended my father bring his 2005 Camry for a brake flush due to a soft pedal. They recommended new rotors and pads, claiming 'metal on metal.' However, upon inspection after removing the old parts to replace with the newly purchased parts, we found the brake pads still had just less than half their life left, and while the brakes & rotors were worn, they weren't in the dire condition described. To add insult to injury, their customer service was poor, and they even hung up on me. This experience with my father's car and their unprofessionalism has completely changed my opinion of their shop. Feels like unnecessary work was pushed and their customer service has declined significantly. makes me wonder if the brake fluid flushed was even completed.
