The team there is respectful knowledgeable and kind. I had made an appointment for later in the week. on my way home my brakes were literally smoking. Instead of going home I went there. I dropped my Jeep and my keys and hoped that they would be able to fit me in. By the time I got off work my brakes were fixed, my tires had been rotated, and my oil had been changed. Amazingly enough for a fair price by kind respectful people. This local shop has been in business for at least something close to 30 years. I can see why.

The woman at the front desk has been there for years.She got me in pretty quick without an appointment. I needs an inspection then the mechanic brought me into the shop to show me my 20yr old car's shortcomings. He told me that the repairs would exceed the value of the Pontiac. Thanks for being so forthcoming. They felt bad about my dilemma 😕 😪 and didn't even charge me for the undercarriage inspection. Thanks guys. I'm appreciative

From the beginning, the staff have been incredibly amazing. I came in with a 2019 Ford PUI for a used car inspection, AFTER purchase. It was an out of state purchase but they still did it. I still had concerns and came back a second time, and found out the transmission has a little slip but they assured me everything is absolutely fine. Both times, they didn’t charge me. I went back, today, with a slow leak and the turnaround was within literal seconds. I explained I had to drive down to Philly due to an unexpected loss of my mother, and didn’t have a choice but to risk driving with a slow leak. They waived that fee, despite me profusely telling them I’ll pay. This place is nothing short of amazing to me. It’s a small family business, and I feel very well taken care of. They have solidified my business, even before the slow leak incident. They’re incredibly supportive and kind people, who treat you right and actually want to help you get back on the road. I’m forever grateful to everyone that works here.

Not a fan of this place at all. Typical liars to steal your money. Thought my battery might need replacing. Hey but maybe the alternator. They will check. They said yeah. Alternator. It’s about 700$. To replace parts and labor. I couldn’t afford that, so I said I can’t right now I’ll just get my van. The guy who was looking at my van went to lunch, so they make me wait an hour to get it off the lift. Yup at least an hour later I go in and inquire about my van. He’s back on another vehicle, can I get mine. Sure another 1/2 hour. ( no money no hurry) I finally get my van pay a diagnostic fee, and go home. I call Karns auto. He says ah, bring it in in the am I’ll look at it on Wednesday, this is Monday. Ok. What have I got to lose. I had bought a battery from Walmart, returned it. It was about 150.$ I’ll pay another diagnostic fee. I guess. Karns actually looked at it on Tuesday, called me up and said , it’s just your battery. I put a new one in (350$) lifetime warranty no diagnostic fee though. Yes expensive battery. But it was done and I could have griped that I wasn’t told before the work was done, but I was already spent on the BS. (Not his, the Groton tire Auto lie and the standing and waiting for their whole process of 3 total hours. I’m 62) So no I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE GROTON TIRE AND AUTO. side note: even the desk lady, at Groton Tire and Auto thought it was just a battery. The mechanics just wanted to make an extra 200$ off an old lady. I wish I could leave them negative stars or none. Do not go there. They are A-TYPICAL mechanics who take advantage of women.

so i own a large cargo van that will not fit into most bays at a mechanic. thankfully it fits at groton tire and auto. so far they have serviced my van 2 times and im very pleased with the results. the owner knows what hes doing. price was reasonable. speed was good. they had to special order the parts but they got it done before the weekend. so looks like ill be taking my van here for any needs in the future. thank you
