“I came to this tire shop and told them I had 2 punctured tires. They made me take them off myself, luckily I had the tools. Then they told me the price was $100 per tire plus $25 labor – for work I basically did myself. They said it would take 30 minutes, but I ended up waiting 2 hours. When they finally gave me the tires back, I put them on and checked the pressure because they looked flat. Turns out they didn’t even inflate them properly, even though the correct PSI is clearly written on the tire. I went back and told them, and they just said ‘take the tire off again and give it to us so we can inflate it.’ Very poor service. I do not recommend this place. There’s another tire shop nearby – go there instead, because here they clearly don’t care about their customers.”

Gian, Harry, and Peter are three of the nicest guys I have ever dealt with at a tire shop. I got here and they gave me even a better price than we discussed on the phone and did not try to sell me anything else. They were super polite and kept me updated during the whole process of putting the four new tires on my truck and getting an alignment. I Was looking to go to a different Mavis shop, but I’m so happy I wound up here because I don’t think they’re all created equal. I highly recommend this location at 1330 E. Such a Godsend. The tire pressure was low on my sister’s car. We were traveling quite a way and by the grace of God we pulled into this Mavis as we excited the highway. Adam and Fernando as well as everyone in the store were wonderful. There was no pressure to “buy” extra products. There was just honest facts and good workmanship.

I went in for a state inspection after having my vehicle checked earlier that morning at Tesla, where I was told everything, including the tires, was in good condition. Despite this, the inspection station refused to renew my inspection without providing a clear explanation. I also noticed other customers seemed similarly dissatisfied with their experience. This was surprising to me, as I haven’t encountered this level of service elsewhere on Long Island. I hope they can improve their communication and customer service moving forward.

I stopped in today for a nail in my tire. It’s raining and miserable out. Gian and Harry greeted me with a smile and were able to get me fixed up in no time. I will definitely be going back to Mavis when needed. Thanks for making my day easier than I thought. They were really great
