This is the most shady Unloyal, an honest car repair place to go to. I took my car there over and over and this mechanic cannot figure out the problem, but yet swears he knew what it was and Kept saying it was different things and charging me over and over. Finally I had enough enough I reported him to the Business Bureau, which nothing happened. Nobody wants to touch my car because it is so rigged up. He actually zip tied my brake Pedal Which I recently discovered, knowing that this is the car that I drive my family and not give two craps rigged up my car just so he didn’t have to hear Me . I’m considering getting lawyer

Worst Experience of my life! I thought I found the Company & the Man Jose! To bring my 64 Impala up to the daily driver I wished it to be! I had so much confidence because the shop was full of classics. What a mistake! I should have looked here first. 3.8 Stars before my review gets added. The list of problems is incredible. I gave it to him with 25 problems he gave it back to me with 25 problems. After I spent nearly 50K with him. $50,000 parts and labor! I really thought this guy was taking his time to do it right. My car spent over 1 year in his shop! From April 2023 to June 2024. One week after bringing it home I took it back because of Oil & Transmission leaks! Both we supposedly rebuilt! One week after bringing it home it was back for the same leaks. Then I got it home a 3rd time & decided to hold off on taking it back again for the leaks. Then I drove it on the freeway & the car felt like it was going to fall apart. The New Dash he put in was shaking the Convertible top was shaking and making crazy loud sound. Then I took it back this being a third time for the leaks again & the sounds coming from the dash & convertible top. When I get their he told me my expectations were to high! He said this is an old car. I told him that's crazy talk. After all we rebuilt the Engine the Transmission was Newley rebuilt and new to the car. Then he got it back to me & the Audio system went out! And then I lent it to my Cousin Gus Dahdoul & he went off on me cuz he found that I trusted the wrong mechanic & he being a Mechanic found all the things Jose did wrong. Missing starter bolt and missing Fly cover, Crank seal on the rebuilt engine that's what was causing the oil leak. The Radiator was filled with only water & no AntiFreeze starting corrosion, In multiple areas on the motor cables were touching the motor. The Spark Plugs were not tightened my cousin cuz unscrewed them his bear hand. The one of the wire's was melting.The motor mounts were not bolted to the Motor they were just sitting on top of the mounts waiting to fall off! The list goes on & on & I can't continue with this review! Just stay away!

I will not take my car here again. Initially I had it towed there because one night, my car would not start. It tried to turn over, the dash lit up. I explained very clearly that 1) The tow truck driver could tell it was a fuel problem 2) I know its needed a new computer for YEARS, it was diagnosed at Craig’s Auto - this would cause the car to not shift out of park sometimes when I’d turn the car on, so I’d have to turn the car off, then back on again, and it always worked fine (the ABS system lights would come on). However, I was planning to replace the car soon and ONLY wanted him to diagnose and repair whatever caused the car to not start, NOT the computer, if that was not the cause. So after keeping my car for days, he assured me the only problem was the computer, so I paid around $750 for him to replace it. After 2 weeks, it failed the exact same way, would not start. The tow truck driver listened and AGAIN told me it sounded like a fuel problem. This guy hit my fuel tank with a hammer and the car started. Jose kept the car for days until it finally replicated the problem and failed again, and then told me the problem was the fuel pump. He charged me FULL price (around $760, which included new spark plugs) and denied that the initial problem was the fuel pump. He claimed to have “checked everything”, including the fuel pump, the first time I brought it in. I absolutely do not believe him. I witnessed what the car was doing both times, and believe whole-heartedly that both times my car failed, the problem was the fuel pump. He should have acknowledged that and at the very least, given me a discount.

This place is a rip off. My boyfriend took his car here because they estimated the cost of replacing his fuel pump at $500 for parts & labor. He is a student, working two full time jobs to pay for his rent AND tuition so he really did his research on finding the shop with the best estimate, which is why he went with Baja. He dropped his car off yesterday morning (Monday) and they told him it would be done by 5pm, same day. 5pm passed and they never called him. He had to reach out and inquire & they told him that they ordered the wrong part and they would have it by today (Tuesday) in the morning. Oh well, things happen right? They assured him they'd have his car ready in the morning. Nope, wasn't done until 2pm. Unfortunately my boyfriend had to work and wasn't able to pick up his car, so I took my dad with me and that's when we found out my boyfriend was getting ripped off. They had the cost of the part at $575 and my dad has been the the automotive parts business for over 30 years and knows parts inside and out. He literally called his friend from work to look up the cost of the part in front of the employee: it retails at $371. The employee just stammered that to his knowledge, they paid $575 for the part & that was the going rate for it. At the end he was charged $750 when he really should have been charged $550 for the part and two hours of labor ($180). Stay far away from this place because either A.) they are completely okay with ripping off customers or B.) they have no idea what a reasonable part price is and will pay an exorbitant amount at the expense of the customer

This place is honestly the best place to go to if you need to fix your car on a budget. I'm a full time student with a low income and caring for my disabled mother, so fixing my car is very low on my priority list when there are other things to worry about like eating and paying rent. So I have an '03 Mitsubishi gallant and it was rounding up close to it's first 100k miles and have been told their timing belts tend to be the first things to go, and that will F' up the engine. So here I am hoping and praying for my car to hold on a little longer, while I aquire some type of cash. I had gotten estimates from a few places ranging from 600-800. I had only came here because I remember my dad taking me here a few years back and had given him a good deal on his car, so there I went one more estimate wouldn't hurt. I took my mom since she's the negotiator of the family but honestly there was no need. The owner Jose is a hella cool guy who was straight up about everything I explained my situation and he said no worries I can do that for alot cheaper and a 1 year warranty. Like I said the owner was very friendly as well as his workers and they were all very knowledgeable in their line of work. He told me it would be done by Saturday took it in late Friday and if anything he'd give me a call just to let me know if he found something that also needed repair. He ended up calling me to tell me my hoses needed fixing since the new timing belt would put a lot of pressure to the old tattered tubes and could cause them to tear and create more issues. He did this with no extra charge. He even fixed a dead light in my headlight for free. This guy really helped a girl out honestly. He checked my a/c cuz I was having issues with it no problem. The original estimate is what i payed no hidden fees no nothing! Honestly you who's reading this and wondering should I come here DO IT. You won't regret it this guys work is hands down bloody good and the work environment is professional and he can refer you to other places if need be. I'M EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I GOT. This is for sure my go to spot for my repairs from now on and for sure I'm recommending my friends and family. Thanks alot Jose customer for life here :)
