Dan at Craig's Automotive is a top notch mechanic. He's a mechanic who doesn't have to be there but wants to be there because of how much he likes working on cars. I've been bringing my 2007 Ford Econoline, 2013 Subaru Outback, and 1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 there for the last nine years and Dan and his staff have been able able to solve any issue I've had with any of my vehicles. It's not often that a mechanic shop has the capabilities and knowledge to work on classic vehicles and modern vehicles at the same. The charges are fair and my vehicles are fixed in a timely matter. The best part is that I know when the work is done that it was done right and I won't have to bring the vehicle back for the same problem. Dave at the front desk is also very knowledgeable and very thorough at explaining what the problem is and how much it will cost, he always makes sure to get my approval before doing the work. I'm glad I found Craig's Automotive because this is the type of quality work and professionalism I would want from a mechanic shop. Thank you Dan, Dave, and all the other top notch mechanics that have worked on my vehicles.

Edit: wow, too bad your response just shows how you're shop doesn't pay attention to details because you're talking about two separate cars. And the 50 that was towed in after the first visit with you, has a new battery that fires up with no issues even after sitting for a while. Also has new brakes and brake system that was done a couple months before you ever got it. But nevertheless if I were to call the BAR pretty sure they would not side wth your shop. I keep record. But no problem, the customers are the issue right? No need to keep arguing, go ahead and give them a try. Hopefully you're experience is better than mine. After the first visit I would have given 5 stars. They fixed my issue I didn't argue price because it seemed fair, but then that vehicle broke down after paying $1500 for a carburetor issue and they didn't check the linkage. So I had to waste another tow truck to bring it back (and paid again) Second vehicle went in for a fuel pump issue. Paid for a new carb and fuel pump, picked it up and the fuel lines blew while we drove our daughter to school. Wasted another tow and unpaid day off... Picked it up and then the first car broke down AGAIN. This time for a steering issue which should have been brought to my attention the first time. Another $1700 spent. We left work early multiple times to get there before 5 only to arrive at 430 and no one was there. So yesterday I called ahead to let them know we would be there before 5 and the guy was mad because he wanted to leave early. Was a jerk on the phone and hung up on me. Then told my husband it had an issue starting (when it never did before) Now my gas gauge doesn't work when it did before (because I myself replaced the tank & sending unit) there is always an excuse here, terrible customer service and they can't even honor their posted hours of service. We took many days off work to go back and forth when half the time it was a recheck on their repairs. Not to mention the many wasted tow truck trips. This was a AAA recommended shop too. I'm a service manager for Ford my employees would be in so much trouble for treating customers this way.

At first I was in a rush to get my smog done and when I get here everything was going fine until they were trying to find things not to pass smog when they already did pass it and then they were trying to tell me I have to pay again to redo it one day already passed the smog not very happy and when I ask other people about this place they're saying that this is not a good place to take your car too overpricing etc.. thank you but no thank you I'll never take my car here again. Even the DMV next door to them said they will never send people over there don't send them to speedway.

Been taking my car and my families cars here for years. Always get reasonable quotes and good service. Also the waiting area has a cool ambiance. Will always recommend and always come back.

My son and I both brought our Ford Crown Victorias here to have service. They were both police cars from auctions. I had both cars evaluated here immediately after purchase. They did excellent work on both cars. I had the AC replaced, front and rear LED lights installed, transmissions and brakes serviced, work on the police door locks, other routine maintenance, oil change, etc. The work was well done. Both cars are running beautifully. I like the access and room coming to the shop. There is plenty of space and parking. The ambience of the shop is also unique, it reminds me of the movie "Cars." I have another friend who referred me there, he is also a regular. Highly recommended shop
