Ramjet Rear End Repair

I was fortunate to find Ramjet in 2021 when my jeep needed a new rear differential and a 4x4 shop had quoted me an exorbitantly high amount. I brought it in to Eddie who rebuilt it for 1/3 of what they had quoted me. He has since done my front differential, front and rear drive shafts, a u-joint, and axle seal. He is honest and trustworthy and has told me no when other mechanics have tried to upsell me unnecessary work during maintenance or engine work, he provides quality work that he stands by, uses only superior parts, and both he and his mechanics are always welcoming when I come in. If you are looking for repair work on your vehicle I cannot recommend Ramjet and Eddie enough.

I can't say enough good things about Ramjet Rear End Repair and their honesty. I called Ramjet about an issue with my truck's rear end. It had been rebuilt by another shop about two years ago, and about a week after getting it back, I noticed a slight jitter that seemed to slowly get worse over time. Thinking it was something else, I spent money replacing all of the U-joints, having the driveshaft balanced, and even getting an alignment. Despite all of that, the jitter continued and became especially noticeable when backing up slowly without touching the brakes. When I explained everything to the gentleman at Ramjet, he asked me a simple question: "Did you go back and have the rear-end fluid changed after so many miles?" I told him no because nobody had ever mentioned that to me. He recommended I change the fluid first and only bring it in if the problem remained. The same day, I changed the fluid, and WOW—the jitter was completely gone! What impressed me most was his honesty. He could have easily told me to bring the truck in and spend a lot of money on diagnostics and repairs. Instead, he gave me straightforward advice that solved the problem immediately. This truck belonged to my dad, who passed away in November 2025, so it's incredibly special to me. I've been doing everything I can to maintain it and keep it running right in his memory. I truly appreciate the time, knowledge, and integrity that Ramjet showed me. Thank you, Ramjet, for your honesty and professionalism. My experience at ramjet was phenomenal. Eddie is very skilled at what he does, took care of my rear ene in One day.He initially said three days. Provided me pictures of the whole process and showed me all the American parts he used. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

This is the place in LA to get your rear end done. All the mechanic shops source out and defer to Eddie and Ramjet when working on the rear diff. Had the gears in my Mustang GT swapped for 4.10s and the diff rebuilt. It’s been a few years now and no problems whatsoever. No whining grinding or leaks. Completely satisfied, Eddie and his team do excellent quality work at a fair price. Thanks Ramjet!
