I want to share my experience so other customers can be careful before choosing this shop. I brought my vehicle to this location for an A/C issue. During their inspection/repair process, one of their technicians damaged a coolant hose, which made my vehicle undrivable. After that, I was charged significant parts and labor fees related to the damage and other work. What concerned me the most was the lack of clear written estimate and authorization before the charges were made. Some of the charges did not match what was actually done. For example, I was charged for items related to a sensor even though the sensor was not actually replaced. The labor charges also seemed excessive and not clearly explained. Because of the situation, I filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. After the complaint, the shop agreed to issue a refund, but the refund process has been delayed, and I still have not received the check. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. Customers should be very careful, ask for a detailed written estimate before any work is done, confirm exactly what parts are being replaced, and keep all receipts and records. ————————after 3month———————- Update: I have now received the refund, but it took a lot of time, effort, follow-ups, and a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair before the issue was finally resolved. My original concern was the lack of clear communication, written authorization, and billing transparency. Sam went above and beyond to help me. I have gotten a few quotes on my exact tires. He explained to me the different tire deals and didn't just rush me into anything. He said he didn't want to add brakes until he checked them. He was so honest and told me I didn't need brakes. Which another auto shop said I needed brakes and rotors.. I only spoke with Sam and Sonny both have amazing customer service skills. I will refer them to family and friends.

I haven't been here since before covid. Had my old car serviced here. They did good with it and took care of it well. Prices reasonable. No issues or deception. They're straight forward.. Just as I like it. Got a new car... dealership was busy... came here bc they're reliable and get the job done ASAP. Gets my props. Thanks MV. Also.. I haven't been here since because they're always busy and or just booked bc so many desire their service. So that tells me something.

I have been going to this auto service facility for over 35 years and I have always appreciated their service. I especially appreciate the attention and respect I get from Sam, the manager technician, who has there since 2000. Sam and the team go above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied.

I had a great experience. My mechanic was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent service. Thank you Mountain View! I will be back in the future.
