I had a really great experience with Fremont and Purdon. I had some serious transmission issues come up with my car and they handled everything professionally from start to finish. Huge shoutout to Brett — he was on top of everything the whole time. He kept me updated daily, explained things clearly, and made sure I was never left guessing about what was going on. That level of communication honestly made a stressful situation way easier to deal with. What really stood out was how accommodating they were, especially since I’m based in San Jose and couldn’t always be there in person. They still made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and worked with my warranty company to get the repair handled the right way. It’s not easy finding a shop you can actually trust, but they definitely earned it. I just wish there were shops up here in San Jose that I could trust like Fremont and Purdon. Highly recommend them if you want honest work, great communication, and people who genuinely care.

Steve, Brett and the rest of the crew are awesome! Brett is friendly and explains things clearly, even while getting you in and then on your way quickly. Steve is fair, thoughtful and has kept our family’s old cars running well and safely for many years. He’s also helped in a couple of emergency situations. We count on Fremont & Purdon and highly recommended them!
View on GoogleAmazing work! Was dangerously low on brake fluid (dash didn't alert me until it was physically checked) and they were able to see me the next morning when I called. Was out in less than an hr. We all assumed it was the brakes or a leak but once everything was checked over before they did the work they didn't see anything & my brakes were still good enough until my next oil change. They were concern as well and checked again after the flush. Seriously incredible work especially since they were very worried and checked my car over more than twice. I been to their bodyshop before for repairs and this is my first experience with their mechanics on maintenance. Will definitely be back since my old go-to increase their prices to insane amounts. The one thing I was grateful for was that they checked over my car entirely, told me what needed fixing before they started to see what I wanted done. I left with my paid receipt & the estimate for work that will be needed. I usually call around to price check and their prices are very reasonable and affordable in comparison
