Extremely Unsafe, Dishonest, and Hostile, Especially Toward Women I came here with a tire that wasn’t flat, just had a nail. I only wanted a patch. They claimed all 4 tires were bad, then admitted 1 was okay. I agreed to buy 3 used Bridgestones at $70 each. The price and brand were confirmed before they touched the car. When I went to pay, they tried charging $280, more than agreed. I checked the tires and realized one wasn’t even replaced. It was a Continental, my original tire, visibly balding with thread exposed. I took a photo. When I pointed it out, things escalated. The owner told the worker to reinstall the tire with two nails they had just pulled. He said, “Ah, pues así te vamos a tratar,” and the worker replied, “Sí, ponle ese.” They had all 3 of my tires, but chose the most dangerous one on purpose. I begged them not to. I told them it was unsafe, a hazard, they didn’t care. I felt targeted, unsafe, and powerless. It felt personal, like retaliation for calling them out. I was seconds from calling 911. Only when I started filming did they back off and put back one of my better tires. I paid for the 2 actually replaced and left shaken. I have videos and photos of proof of how they treated me. This place is unsafe and deeply unethical. Their behavior was aggressive, manipulative, and predatory. Go to Al’s Auto Center at 590 N Lake Ave, Pasadena. They’re honest, kind, and actually care about your safety. I later saw other reviews from women with similar experiences. This isn’t one bad visit, it’s a pattern. Women especially, stay far away

Had major tire damage caused by freeway debris. Thankfully had a spare and found Chuys a mile from incident. Quickly mounted tire on rim and balanced. Grateful they were open on a Sunday!

Historically, this was my place to go for tire repair. I recomended them to countless friends and family. However, that is not the case moving forward. Lasr week, I took my own spare tire to replace a worn tire. They replaced the worn tire with the tire I provided, mount and balance for $25. Reasonable and fair. Today I took another spare I had to match the thread on the other side. Same exact service. Nothing different......other than. $45, this time. I questioned the price, letting them know I just had the exact same service done for $25, and they had no response. At this point, I had the service completed since i was already there, but I wont be back. I would have paid $45 the 1st time but the shadiness is my point. Eveytime you will get a different price. Why dont they simply post thier prices? Its the principle.

This establishment has sadly gone downhill over the years. I stopped by yesterday to get a used tire as one of mine was low on tread. Despite having a “cash only” sign out front, they did take cards. They also jacked their prices from $25 to $55 on used tires. Wanting to be a good patron, I accepted. They found a tire that was a fit for my car, but they went several times to the front to show it to the owner and back to the yard presumably to find an alternative. After a few rounds, they decided to go with the tire they picked out. When I asked what all the fuss about the tire, they assured me it was nothing to worry about. Sure enough, I have a flat tire today. Avoid this business.

Had a broken connection from my muffler to tailpipe. Duel exhaust with one of the end mounts broken which caused the muffler connection to break. I brought up the mount issue to the man lifting the truck and the man at the front desk who I assume is Chuy. But this was never addressed when I came to pick it up. Not sure if they didn’t understand me or forgot about it. So I still need the mount issue resolved. They took my truck right onto the lift so I loved the quick service. They replaced the muffler in 2 hours. Total was $240. I’m no welder so I took photos. Runs smooth but I still need the mount fixed. Bit of a language barrier in communication but I really liked the vibe of the shop. Mostly a nascar pit stop for used tires.
