I had a very pleasant experience bringing my 2015 BMW here for service. I recently moved to the area and came across Matteson's online and appreciated all the positive reviews. It is safe to say that they are true - I received superior service. I talked to Connor to coordinate my appointment time, car drop-off, and parts ordering. It was important to me to have Genuine parts installed and he guaranteed this would be the case. I have taken my car in twice now in the last few weeks for various repairs and all went smoothly and my car came back in great condition each time. I found the pricing fair and reasonable for the parts and services offered. They were transparent about the pricing up front as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a reliable mechanic.

I've had routine oil changes here with great results on my 2008 Prius. Just writing today as they helped me out of a jam. My car battery died and I needed some help, kids were already loaded up and waiting. I walked down and one of the mechanics offered to walk back to my car with me and give me a jump. It's this kind of service that keeps everyone coming back to support this friendly and community oriented business. Thanks Matteson's for serving PG!

I brought my van in with what I was convinced was a need for new brake pads and rotors. Any other place could have taken that and run with doing the job. As a testimony to their integrity and honesty, they went through their checks and called me back. They said my brakes and pads were good and I did not need any service. Thank you so much for the piece of mind and assurance. Would highly recommend.

These guys are awesome. Mike helped me get a new tire and gave me a great price and fast service. I have brought friends to this shop and they are always taken care of with a smile!! Highly recommend!!

Update: The owner reached out, which is normally a good indicator that there's a level of responsibility and care within the organization. Hopefully this is a one-off situation, and we can resolve this together. DO NOT USE their services. We had an old change and they forgot to put the drain plug back into the vehicle. Now we are stranded in Castroville with three kids, and no mechanics shops are open. They charged us $131 for an oil change. Now I have to get an uber to get my kids home 30 minutes away, a tow truck, and we will miss our $800 event in San Francisco.
