Check in was quick, polite, and efficient. The shop is clean and seems to be well maintained. The issues that were repaired and the issues diagnosed were explained properly. A detailed invoice was presented and questions asked were answered. Can’t really ask for anything more. I highly recommend Bay Tire and Brake.
View on GoogleI had the best experience at this shop. I scheduled a break inspection because I was worried about a noise my brakes were making and these folks were so awesome. Super professional. Booked for just a few days out, sent me a text message reminder and made the experience very easy. They were honest and displayed respect and trustworthiness. As a woman, trustworthiness with a mechanic is everything! I felt they did a great job.
View on GoogleI can’t recommend Bay Brakes Auto and Tires enough. I brought my 2017 GMC Canyon in for an overheating issue after I struck out trying to fix it myself with a new thermostat. Randy and Brian were absolute pros. They were completely upfront about the diagnosis and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. They figured out it was the water pump and two sensors, got it fixed quickly, and gave me a great deal on the final bill. It’s hard to find a shop this trustworthy and professional. If you want honest mechanics who know what they’re doing, go see Randy and Brian. I’ll definitely be back.

We were heading down the coast on Highway 1 and thought of having them checked before we headed out. GOOD THING! The brakes were shot, and we could have lost them on the steep hills, not to mention in the Siskiyou Mountains on the way back to Oregon. Randy inserted us in immediately, as we had a car full of kids all ready for the trip. He knows kids. He knows parents, and he knows what happens to both when the car breaks down! So we were in-N-Out, like the burger joint, and we made the trip with minimal delay. These guys are the BEST. They truly put the customer FIRST. If you see Randy, tell him hello from me.
