I've been taking my Boxster here for a few years now and plan to continue doing so. This place is for people like me who are more interested in talking directly to the guy doing/directing the work and less interested in having a service advisor and a fancy lounge with free coffee and donuts (none of that here). Zack does excellent work at a fair price; he takes pride in his work and doesn't take short-cuts. He doesn't do unnecessary work. I had a brake job come back below the estimate because he determined that there was too much life left on the rear brakes to do them at that time. I haven't experienced that anywhere else.

Zack is a great mechanic. Knowledgeable, thorough, and with great follow up. Between my wife and kids, we own 3 well driven VW's and he's handled multiple issue with all of them while also being sensitive to our budget for fixes. He will let you know all the issues that the car has, but also break down which ones you can wait on and which ones are critical as well as explaining in great detail the reasons some things are ok to wait on and why the others are not. He shares photos of all the things he's addressing and afterwards the parts, so you know the work has been done completely. He even called me back to the garage once after turning the car over to me because he saw spots on the floor and just wanted to make sure they weren't from my car. If you've had trust issues with mechanics before, this is your new guy.

Any job is possible, quite possibly the best mechanic I’ve come across in several decades of driving VW’s. THIS is the SHOP- once you come here, you’ll never take your VW anywhere else, absolutely worth the commute even from OC, Ventura, SB, and Riverside counties.
