I live in Northern California, more than 350 miles away from this shop. I was in tight spot as I was looking after my sister who is a cancer patient in a nearby hospital. The blower motor on my truck’s air conditioner stopped blowing at all! I was mostly concerned about my sister’s comfort but, I had had previous problems with the air conditioning in the truck before. Either clicking noise or only working on 4. The resistor had been replaced twice before. But this time the blower would not blow at all. I checked Google reviews on nearby shops and chose Myrtle. I met Chant and he definitely lives up to his reputation as a trustworthy and experienced mechanic. He thoroughly troubleshot the issue and found it was an issue with the ground wire. He expertly repaired the electrical system of the truck’s air conditioning and after driving it for a week I can tell you that it working like it’s brand new. This guy has given me more free advice on the phone than I have brought car in to see him. He tells me what’s wrong and most of it I can quickly address myself. My AC was failing recently, took it in and he got it working in a few hours, $200. Checked over my entire car for free, looked at the brakes, the struts, control arms, tested all of the components with his expensive scan tool. Can't say enough good things about this guy and his team.

They were very friendly, but overall I was pretty disappointed with the level of service. Came in with check engine light on for small evap leak. The performed a smoke test on it and couldn’t find any leaks, so he referred me to the dealership. After getting home I did more research and found least 2 more basic checks they could have performed before sending me on my way. I had to visit the dealership for a recall issue anyway and they were able to perform those checks free of charge. He was nice enough to only charge me half what he would have , which was nice of him and whats saving them from a lower rating.
