I regret to say that my experiences with Tom’s Tire and Auto Repair over the past year have been extremely disappointing. I initially brought my car in for brake repairs, but I had to return multiple times because the brakes either failed again or continued to squeal. Each visit cost between $300 and $500. Eventually, I sought a second opinion from a more reputable repair shop and was told that the issue stemmed from Tom’s using the cheapest brake components available while charging premium prices. This explained the recurring problems and ongoing expenses. Unfortunately, my family’s experience did not end there. My husband took his SUV to Tom’s for an air conditioning issue and was quoted $1,700 for repairs. Trusting his instincts, he obtained a second opinion and discovered that the problem was simply low refrigerant. After paying only for the freon, the air conditioner worked perfectly. This prompted him to revisit another diagnosis from Tom’s regarding his Volkswagen Golf. He had previously been told it had an engine problem that would cost $5,000 to repair, forcing the car to sit unused for two years. After consulting another mechanic, we learned the issue was minor and cost only $300 to fix. The car is now running without any problems. Based on our experiences, I strongly encourage others to seek second opinions before committing to repairs here. Transparency, accuracy, and trust are essential in auto repair, and unfortunately, we did not find them at Tom’s Tire and Auto Repair.

View on GoogleI was referred here by the dealership who found a nail in my tire. I went in to get it removed and patched. The front desk attendant was friendly and professional. He came back and said they removed the nail and it had not gone through the tire so I was good to go. They didn’t charge me for removing the nail. Thank you, Tom’s for your help!
