pep boys suggested that my car needed a break job and quoted me a very high price, instead I went to this auto repair shop for a better deal. The owner checked the brakes and told me that there is no a brake problem and suggested to me to check with electrician after I explained the problem to him. He could have changed the brake and pocket the money. He didn't even charge me for checking the brakes. The owner is honest unlike most mechanics I encountered.

Emad, Owner had his mechanic change my oil and they bent the oil pan. I had not had any warning lights or issues with my car prior to going for a standard oil change. The same day I left his shop, a warning oil light flashed. I took kids my car back to them the next day and there was little to no oil in my car. He said that I have a small bend in my oil pan and if I went to purchase that, 12 new screws and silicone, he would replace it. Instead of arguing with him, I spent a lot of money on the supplies. He told me to drop my car off and it would take 4 hours. I took my car to him by appt at least 4 times and told him that I would stay there. Again, every time it was by appt he confirmed. Each time, he made an excuse...My car isn't leaking anymore, so instead of wasting expensive oil already in my car, i should wait; they are too busy, but he set the appt with me to bring my car; I need to drop my car off during the week on a Monday, which was not going to happen since I do work; and why change the oil pan since my car is only leaking a little. Now, I'm stuck with an oil pan that I probably never needed, 12 new screws that I had to order, which is did not understand why he could not reuse my old ones, and silicon. He should have to reimburse me the $300+. I am truly disappointed with how he runs his business. There was another lady that said she had to bring her car back for something they did wrong. Hopefully, this is not a norm for them.

My catalytic converter was stolen. I anticipated a long painful wait to replace it and budget-crushing costs for parts and labor. Once Ladera Heights Auto Center had the information they needed, they ordered the part and repaired my car within one day. Labor charges were much less than I expected. They even buffed out an old annoying scratch on my bumper. All the mechanics were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and very helpful. I cannot recommend this repair shop highly enough!
