100% HONEST MECHANIC — Jack is the absolute best. I started going to Empire Motorsports for simple oil changes and brake work. Fantastic work at a very fair price. Over time, a more serious issue developed in my Hyundai Elantra. After warning me that this specific issue was present on my car model, the engine finally seized. At this point, I had the car towed to him because he was familiar with it. This is when he could have fleeced me for thousands of dollars on a new engine, but instead let me know it may qualify for a factory recall (after countless Hyundai reps told me it wouldn’t). Well, JACK WAS OF COURSE RIGHT. I ended up getting a free engine replacement through Hyundai, all thanks to Jack. For this and the overall quality of his work, I will be returning to him for all necessary services. Thank you again! If you are a bit car illiterate (admittedly like me), please trust Jack!

Came here because I wanted to get new brakes. Jacob took a look and told me he thinks I didn’t need new ones just yet. He then proceeded to further inspect my brakes and told me my back brakes are still very good, and recommends that I Inspect my front brakes on my next oil change. But he did offer to change my front ones if I wanted but I didn’t have to. I appreciate his honest feedback and they didn’t seem too pushy to get work done that I didn’t even need. Just make sure to schedule an appointment. Seems like a good and honest mechanic.
