Superior Auto Care

Superior has provided excellent service and work every time I’ve brought my Lexus in. They’ve worked on my car twice, first to replace the spark plugs that I had and brought my own parts (some mechanics in the area aren’t willing to use your own parts but Superior does!!!) And most recently to install a new alternator that went bad in my car. Both times the work was done efficiently, with great attention to detail and great pricing. The mechanics at Superior are knowledgeable, transparent, and truly dedicated to quality service and they know what they are doing not like others. I highly recommend them for any mechanical work 10/10.

Take my cars all the time and I don't mind the drive i stay in santa ana and they are the only mechanics I trust with my cars. From their customer service to their prices and their honesty, they will actually fix your car instead of just taking your money.

Time is money and these guys do not value it makes appointments and then when you’re on your way, he will just cancel on you bad business all the way around not even a sorry for wasting your time he made like three different appointments and did not keep any of them told me oh it’s tax time everyone is bringing in their cars mind you, He already looked at the car, gave me a quote and made an appointment This place must be a scam. Do not waste your time going there, especially if you are using vacation time.

If I can give this place a 0 star I would. First of all I went to this place for a quote on a small leak which I knew exactly what it was. The mechanic here started coming up with all these assumptions with a rude attitude. He claimed he was a profesional and studied but wouldn’t bother to even look at my car. I then proceeded to explain that all I needed was a small part replaced and he just tried to talk over me and started getting irate. Please save your self some time and money and go somewhere else. These people are not good at their trade.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR!!! They are liars and will take advantage of you. I don’t EVER leave bad reviews but I am infuriated with these people and want to warn others. They say one thing to make you believe they’re helping you out, but they don’t!! I read previous reviews and should have known better. When I had first came to this shop I expressed how I am so sick of shops taking advantage of single women, and he assured me he was trustworthy and that he has sisters. I had initially came into the Superior Auto because I was told from another shop I needed ignition coils and Superior quoted me $120 for that and then was told I needed a tune up which would have been $80, so $200 total which we agreed for both. When I come to pick up the car he told me I didn’t need ignition coils but he did the tune up and the total was still $200 even though he never replaced ignition coils like I had asked. I asked why it was $200 and he said because he put in a new air filter and synthetic oil that I never asked for. I didn’t really put up a fight and paid the $200. That should have been my first red flag. When I was there I had mentioned that I needed a new catalytic converter and he told me that he could get it straight from the dealership for a good price and we agreed on the price. After they replaced the catalytic converter he told me that he was able to turn off the code for it (p420) and that no one ever is able to. Well I just find out now that he did NOT turn the code off he literally turned my whole check engine light off and it’s not even turning on for other codes. So the code for the catalytic converter is still there as well as other codes. My car is now at a legit shop not a mom & pop shop and this new shop also told me that it is not the original converter and that it might even be a bad converter and if that’s the case I am going to fight this. After they replaced the catalytic converter they told me I DID need ignition coils and he told me how much each would be but little did I know they literally come in a 4 pack, you don’t pay individually like he made it seem. He said it would have been $240 because they were $60 each and $60 for labor. I didn’t know any better and had completely forgot that he had even quoted me $120 the very first time I had asked for them (a lot happen in between all this and completely slipped my mind). So I paid $300. I went to auto zone later to get my battery tested and was talking about my new ignition coils and he said “oh girl you got ripped off big time”. I did my research and find out that he probably got those ignition coils for $100 and just charged me $200 for labor. I understand they have to make profit, but DONT LIE AND DECEIVE ABOUT IT. I am so fed up with them. I’m just saying, they tell you one thing but it is not true and they WILL take advantage of you. Also don’t ever buy a car from them because he changes the odometer to make it seem like it has less miles then it does (he personally told me this).
