Extremely pleased with the service I received here: professional, friendly, and supportive. I went in with a malfunctioning taillight, and Armen immediately worked with me to find an effective and cost-friendly solution. I returned a week later for a general inspection. Great service and quick turnaround time — can highly and happily recommend.
View on GooglePurchased a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. The place was fairly busy and they seemed very rushed. I waited about 10 minutes to be seen, then was told the oil change would take about 20 minutes. I came back and he was just finishing up filling the oil. I am hoping it was the full synthetic oil that I paid for, as the canister was unmarked. He asked me to sign the work order and present my Groupon and that it would be an extra $8 for fees. I paid the additional amount and was on my way. Not much for customer service here and honestly the fees should be included in the Groupon price. Likely won't return.
View on GoogleI’m a bit late to review but the fact that I came back to make sure I said something should also stand as proof. Armen at Dr Smog is exactly what it means to have a good mechanic. He’s honest about pricing, keeps you informed during the repair process, is personable and very thorough. I have an older truck that was giving lean codes. After his inspection and resulting repair, it ended up being half the cost of what it originally was from what he found. Awesomeness. I came back for another repair when I lost reverse and park in my shifter. My tow company was late, but he asked me my arrival time and assured me that he’d stay open long enough to take in my truck. When the day came to pick it up, George was very detailed in what was fixed. Armen and George are good people and do honest work in this neighborhood. I won’t hesitate to provide them with my patronage in the future. Thanks dudes!
