Leo & Son Garage

I came in to get my ~5 year old car's AC fixed and was told it would be a labor intensive process where my dash would have to be taken apart. I got my car back about 1.5 weeks later with cold AC, great. On the bad side, as I was driving off my car immediately had a new warning light, the interior had new scratches, the well near my wiper blades had many used clips and bolts left there, and my belongings from my glove box/center console had been thrown on the back seat floor. It felt sloppy but whatever. I called to let them know about the warning light and ended up having to bring my car back several times. One of the times I waited in the shop I was told it would just be a few more minutes but waited over a hour until I got up and asked for an update. Eventually they fixed the new warning light. Fast forward 2 months, I had to pull over on the freeway because I heard scraping underneath my car. Turns out my underbody splash shield and wheel well liner were both almost completely undone and hanging on a few bolts each. Now it might have been co-incidental to my visit to Leo but with the fact that loose clips/bolts were left around my car I can't help but think they had left these unsecured. I went to a DIFFERENT mechanic to get them re-secured and they asked for my wheel lock key. Turns out that was missing too! Again maybe coincidence but I never take out the key except for oil changes/tire rotations and Leo was the last place I had taken my car. I called Leo again and told them about the missing key. They said they'd look and call if anything but no call came. So that was another problem I had to get fixed. Overall very disappointed and frustrated.

Leo & Son Garage truly earned this review. Max and Ari went above and beyond. They didn’t just fix the issue, they checked and double-checked everything. The work was pristine and professional, and the service felt genuine and transparent. It’s rare to find a shop that combines skill, integrity and real customer care like this. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with my visit. Max took me in on a rainy day as he was closing and replaced my battery and double checked my alternator to be sure it was not affected by the battery. He was very nice to talk to and is very knowledgeable in what he does. I would highly recommend him and the shop to anyone.

I had a very poor experience at Leo & Son Garage and will not be returning. I came in with a hybrid-specific issue that they failed to resolve, yet I was still hit with an excessive bill. Beyond the technical failure, the customer service was severely lacking; the employee at the front desk was unprofessional and dismissive. Save your time and money—find a shop that actually knows how to handle hybrids and treats their customers with respect.

Okay so here we go, took in my truck for a shock absorber swap on a Tacoma. There's a precaution about swapping out the shocks and it's to be cautious of stretching the brake line or ripping the abs lines. Took it in to Leos thinking it was going to be done same day, at 5:50 before closing I pick up the truck with ABS and brake warning as soon as I start the truck I'm not sure if they took it for a test drive but they were sure it wasn't there before I took in and showed them the dashboard before dropping it off because they wanted to know the mileage. So again nothing wrong with my truck besides the leaking shock absorber. So this leads into Saturday, my truck is still being worked on and again they can't figure out what causing the brake warning and abs fault. I've called throughout Saturday hoping I can get into my truck and get on with my plans for the weekend, but still no luck. After having the truck at the shop over the weekend. Monday morning comes around and they managed to find one of the wires damaged (stretched because the harness was still attached to the truck and had the suspension hanging by the wire) and were gaslighting me as if it was there before and it a issue waiting to happen, they didn't charge me for the extra work but still a 3 hour jobs turned into a over the weekend issue. Someone left their Iphone in my truck and I returned it before leaving but I'm missing my Sony Headphones that I had left in the center console. Whatever I highly doubt Imma get my stuff back.
