I’ve been going to Evolution Automotive for about 15 years now, and the service has always been excellent. They are honest, professional, and truly know what they’re doing. Suriya is a great guy, and his whole team is always on top of the maintenance for all my vehicles.
Thanks to their work, one of my cars has over 300,000 miles, another is around 250,000, and my newer truck is about to hit 150,000. They’re the only people I trust to work on my vehicles.

After relocating to the Bay Area 9 years ago, I still haven’t been able to find another shop that provides the same level of service, honesty, and reasonable repair costs.
Recently, I was reminded why this place is unmatched. While driving to San Diego for a wedding, I noticed noises under my engine and discovered the rear end of my splash guard had come loose. The next morning, I stopped by Evolution Automotive. Even though the shop was already packed at 8:30 a.m., the owner told me I’d need to wait a little. As soon as he finished with another car, he immediately lifted mine and fixed the issue in just 5 minutes.
When I asked how much I owed, he simply said, “No charge. A thank you will make me happy.” I even tried to pay for his time, but he politely declined. Thanks to his kindness and quick help, I made it to San Diego without worries and was able to attend the wedding stress-free.
What stands out most about the owner is that while he may not look outwardly welcoming at first glance, he is truly a problem solver who cares deeply about his customers. That combination of skill, honesty, and genuine care is what makes Evolution Automotive so special.
If you live in Arcadia or anywhere nearby, consider yourself lucky to have this shop in your neighborhood. It’s rare to find an auto repair business you can trust this much.

It's not easy to find an honest and experienced auto mechanic, but I will gladly drive all the way from Santa Monica because I trust him and his prices are always super reasonable, especially compared to WestLA/Santa Monica rates and prices.
He diagnosed my 2004 Toyota Sienna's issues, and peeformed some recommended services: Oil change, fluid changes, tire rotation, changed the high beam light bulb, and installed a new battery, etc.. I was worried the trouble with my Sienna was going to be more serious, but Suriya found the problem(s) and reassured me that the minivan is all good now.
My ugly minivan, also known as the SpiderVan because it easily collects cobwebs, is ready to drive another 50k to 100k miles. My wife is happy because I can now cancel my Cybertruck order.
