Brake Masters #248

Want to put a recommendation out for the Brake Masters by Dairy Queen. Getting more and more dissatisfied with the auto shop I’ve used for a while and decided to try Brake Masters after I found out they were much cheaper in their estimates for brake fluid change and super close. Gabe the asst manager welcomed me and answered all my questions, super nice. Chose to wait for car and had the most comfortable time in their waiting room. Here’s pic where I relaxed on the sectional that reclines while reading my book, what a treat! You might want to give them a try, pretty much do all the mechanical needs except for tires.

I had a great experience at this Brake Masters. After getting a quote from the dealership, that was far out of my price range, I came to this Brake Masters. I not only got a better quote, but was treated respectfully. Gabriel V. who assisted me, explained what was going on with my car and answered all of my questions. I appreciated his integrity through the whole process. I never felt pressured and felt I was being heard. I also dealt with Joey and Martin who were very professional and understanding. Great customer service and prices!

This Brake Masters is amazing! Its new and shiny and the waiting area blew me away with the power reclining couch and the large screen TV on the wall. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well. The manager was so nice and accommodating and understanding when I let him know my situation. He was happy to look at my car and let me know all that was needed as well as approximate cost and length of time it would take them to complete the project. He didn't pressure me into setting up an appointment or doing it that day which was refreshing. I will definitely be back to get my car worked on!

I do not recommend taking your vehicle here. They are liars, unprofessional and overpriced. Here is my experience with Brake Masters on Ganzel. I called ahead of time and asked for a price for brakes and rotors, I was told $350.00 +tax, I asked so about $400.00 and the gentleman replied yes. I also asked if they'd be able to diagnose a fuel leak for me and they said yes we don't charge for diagnostics. After I dropped my truck off at about noon, they said they'd call me with any updates. Later in the day about 4pm I received a call from them saying they are unable to get the fuel leak check today and that it would now be $170.00 diagnostics charge, I replied that I needed my truck back the same day because its my work truck and I don't have another vehicle to use for work. The gentleman replied that they still need to do my brakes and won't be ready until the next morning, even though I was told originally that it would take 2-3 hours and they've now had my truck for over 4 hours. I told them to fix the brakes and can this all be done tomorrow morning, he said yes then he said wait no our guy who does the fuel leak diagnoses isn't available until Thursday and this was Tuesday when i dropped off my truck, i told him to just do the brakes and we can skip the fuel leak diagnoses. The next morning I received a call from brakes masters saying my truck was ready, when I came in to pick my truck up they told me the price for the brakes and rotors was now over $500.00. I didn't want to argue about the price as I needed my truck and had to get to work. When I looked in my truck they left trash in my truck and tossed everything in my backseat around and it looked like the police searched my truck for drugs or something, not sure why they were in my backseat to begin with and very unprofessional to ruin my backseat the way they did. I personally know some of their "mechanics " and I say it that way because they're mechanics are only 18 years old with no schooling in being a mechanic, the only training they have is what brakes masters provides which is a 2 week crash course. So they have inexperienced mechanics but want to charge top dollar for their services. Let that sink in. My check engine light is on and I asked if they can tell me what it is, they said its my bank 1 and bank 2 catalytic converter, they gave me a price to replace both for $4,200.00. This just sounded like alot to me, so I called a muffler shop down the street from them and gave all the info for my truck and asked for a quote, they quoted me $2,400.00 to replace both. Thats nearly half the price of brakes masters. Overall I was very disappointed in brakes masters all around, my company was thinking of setting up a fleet service with brakes masters and take all of our trucks there for service but after the experience I had we are looking to go in a different direction. I would avoid brake masters as much as possible, and the waiting room is nice but not worth the money your wasting with them. Oh and to end my rant, I took my truck somewhere better to have them look at the fuel leak, it was check fixed and back in my possession the same day and I paid less for the fuel leak repair then I did for my brakes and rotors from brake masters. With how expensive brake masters is I would call them a scam. Don't waste your money here.

I had a great experience here! Tuttle was able to get me on the schedule right away for an inspection and rotor replacement that only took 45 mins. Super friendly and helpful people!
