APA Total Car Care - Queen Creek

Initially, I went in there wanting another opinion on my A/C. I dropped my vehicle off overnight for it to get the inspection the next morning. They got back to me very quickly and I needed not only a A/C kit but a variety of other things including a radiator. The cost was way less than what the first place I went to for a quote. The $700 difference between the two and APA fixed more than what my expectation was going into the experience. In 24 hrs my vehicle was fixed and works great. The communication was excellent and timely. I had the ability to prepay prior to pickup. When I went and got my vehicle I was able to just pick up my paperwork, my keys, and had the opportunity to ask questions and head home. I 100% will be coming back.

Our Mini Cooper was running very rough, and the check engine light was on. We took it to APA and they were able to determine the cause. They had our car ready in one day. Everyone was friendly and professional. We will definitely take our vehicles back for service or any mechanical issues that we need fixed.

APA has been an amazing partner when it comes to working on my 2005 Mustang GT. They have a quick turn around and are priced competitively. They don't try to upset you on issues that aren't critical, like a dealership would. Every time I bring my car in, I hear back within 24 hrs, and have my car ready shortly after that. If you’re looking for a good enough tune I highly recommend this place! Paid $700 for a tune and brought my truck in twice, but the issues were never resolved. The truck continued to surge and shift very rough in second gear. I was told that was “as good as it’s going to get” and that the issue would not be resolved unless I re-geared the rear end. After getting multiple second opinions from other tuning shops, I was told that rear gearing had nothing to do with the problems I was experiencing and that the issues were tune-related. I then had another tuner correct all of the issues for $350, and the truck now runs and shifts properly with no surging. When I reached back out to this company, their response was that they had already provided a “full pro tune” and “free transmission tuning,” and that their transmission calibration had been used on “50+ cammed LT trucks with zero issues.” They further stated that if the truck now runs better on another tune, it is “likely” that my transmission or rear end will fail due to tire size and gearing, and that their software is calibrated to protect the drivetrain rather than meet customer expectations for drivability. While I understand concerns about longevity, that explanation does not change the fact that another tuner was able to fix the exact problems they said could not be fixed, without requiring a gear change and at less than half the cost. For $700, I expected accurate diagnostics, a tune that resolved the issues, or some level of accountability when it clearly did not. Unfortunately, I received none of those.
