The reviews here seem accurate. It’s interesting the comments about careless lug nut damage and not-very-good used tires. Here was my experience. The good: These guys worked with me immediately upon no-notice arrival to install a set of used Nitto Terra Grappler truck tires for like $400. They looked fine at the time with a bit of tread left. That was extremely helpful and I want to credit them appropriately. They were balanced fine. In addition, these guys have helped patch one of my huge tires before for a great price extremely quickly. The bad: 1. These guys hammered the crap out of my lug nuts with an impact. Driver side front: I left with like 2 lug nuts snapped and 1 siezed. Passenger side front: one lug nut broke free of the wheel bearing, with the bolt stuck on it, free spinning. So I left with only 3 tires installed, as the wheel couldn’t be removed. They discounted me $50 for the trouble. I spent $450 for new wheel bearings (i was going to buy those anyway) but I had to hire a mechanic shop to help get those wheels removed, bearings out and replaced. Something like 4hrs @ $180/hr. That’s a job that I normally do myself for free. No customer likes to hear it, but you’ve gotta STOP and tell the customer what they’re in for and what the risks are when something on their car starts to go sideways. The bad 2: one of the new (used) tires was chunked down to the cord about 5 months and 6k miles later. This one is more on me, you get what you pay for but still. Could have exploded and taken out my bed side. In conclusion: Go to Super Tire Shop. They offer the same services, are just as fast and cheap, but do not have the same complaints. Fast and cheap tire service is a massive service to the entire community but it becomes a disservice when liabilities like these are considered.
