I have been to him a couple times. First time was word-of-mouth when my window would not go up or down and it was going to be parked outside for a few days. He knew my situation and got it fixed the same day and still charging me a great price, even took time out of his day to go pick up the part. Recently, I needed work done on my engine and I went to him, again was very happy. I feel comfortable driving my car, knowing that problem has been fixed correctly. The price was good and I really appreciate how he treats customers,.like keeping me informed. I would definitely recommend Miguel. I feel I now have a mechanic I can trust.

So happy I found a trustworthy neighborhood mechanic. Took my car in for a coolant change and Miguel broke everything down, from the scope of work to the pricing, very clearly. Throughout the day, I received updates about my vehicle and was able to pick up my car the same day! Great pricing, great mechanic, and great vibe. The location can be a little hard to find (especially with the new Brake Masters in front). But it's worth it IMO. Miguel is awesome!

Miguel is a very honest person. I brought in a car I was considering purchasing for an inspection from a private seller. Miguel lifted the car and walked me through his inspection process. Thanks to him I avoided a bad buy and learned some things in the end! Some advice for if you choose him, the tan house with a gate in front of the orange doors of the garages are where you enter. Once again, VERY HONEST, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, and VERY REASONABLY PRICED. Thanks again Miguel!

I definitely recommend Laveen Auto Works, Miguel is a great mechanic and honest man. He was so helpful when I didn’t know what was wrong with my car. Based off of a diagnostic I had received elsewhere I thought it was a really expensive problem. Turns out I just needed an oil change lol he helped save me money and helped inform me on what my car needed and a game plan on how to take care of it better for the future. He could’ve told me anything was wrong but instead he was very honest and helpful. If you’re looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, Miguel is your guy! I’ll be back if anything happens to my car. Highly recommended!

This place is a total rip off!!!!!! First off he took my vehicle and put it in the machine to check the codes because of my check engine light. Instead of informing me there was a diagnostic fee he went to research the issue and came back with a ridiculous amount of labor to replace a shutter under behind my bumper/vent. After I told he I could not afford the $800 to replace the part he then decides ro tell me it’s a $150.00 diagnostic fee and I couldn’t get my vehicle back unless I paid it. That is something a real mechanic shop would have told you up front. On top of that he wanted $850 dollars for a tune up on my vehicle. Now I’m not saying I know what it should cost but I feel like I should have received a clear explanation. I feel like anytime a woman steps in a car shop it’s a go to over charge. If I would have known what I knew I would have went to the dealer at least the price is stated up front and your not blind sided to these over charges. Update: 12/10/24- in response to your reply. I understand there is a charge of labor but as I stated that should have been communicated upfront that was the issue!!!!!!!! The fact that it wasn’t told to me until I decided not to go with your price is what was what was upsetting about the entire ordeal. And then to threaten to keep my vehicle because I didn’t want to pay something that wasn’t communicated was just ridiculous and bad business.
