I had an excellent experience with Sun West Transmission. The dealership down the road quoted me around $12k to replace the transmission in my Chevy Camaro, but Larry was able to repair it for about half the cost. He provides honest, reasonable quotes, delivers high-quality work with a very fast turnaround time, and caught additional minor issues the dealership missed. Every time I called, the front desk answered quickly and took the time to address all of my questions. It was refreshing to deal with real people instead of automated AI scheduling systems and leaving voicemails. Larry is truly an expert in his trade, a real “surgeon” when it comes to vehicles. The entire experience with Sun West was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I truly enjoyed working with the team both the front office and owner. They too time to explain, answer questions (even with pictures), complete the whole ask that was right for the car and didn't cut corners. Very impressed...its hard to find a shop to trust anymore. I asked him to run through the car and he did exactly that. I have never met a mechanic that is so knowledgeable and thorough. After a week all my concerns were remedied plus many others I didn't know anything about. It's nice to know there are still some skilled, reliable, Fair mechanics out there. I would definitely recommend Larry and his crew to anyone who cares about their car and their safety. If you're like me and you love your car and want to keep it for a long time, this is definitely the place to go. Again, I can't praise them enough for their thoroughness and fair pricing. 10/10

My husband and I spent days at dealerships and bought an suv that was a total lemon breaking on us in a day so we refunded it and went back to getting quotes on the van. The folks here were so kind to me, they were not aggressive pressuring me or using scare tactics like others had. They just gave me the best price and warranty with kindness and my gut told me this was the place! They have even gone above and beyond to fix other things and recharge my ac so my kids will be cool in the back for practically no more. I'm so thankful that I found this place. The owner Larry and Ruby at the front desk are genuinely lovely people and I am so thankful to have found them! I've already recommended them to a friend with transmission issues.
