I initially took my car to Greulich’s Automotive Repair in Buckeye for an oil change. While the price ended up being higher than what was advertised, I was happy with the service overall and appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. The following weekend, my husband replaced the brake pads on my car. Afterward, several system errors came up that affected the e-brake, cruise control, and hold features. Because of my first positive experience, I suggested we take it back to Greulich’s to have it checked out. After diagnosing the issue, they told my husband they couldn’t clear the errors and that the repair would cost around $3000. They quickly reduced the estimate by $600, which already felt questionable. We declined the repair and paid a little over $200 for the diagnostic. Based on their recommendation, we ordered the parts they said were needed, along with a scan tool. However, after clearing the codes ourselves, the issues never came back—despite being told the errors would immediately return. The car has been driving perfectly fine since, and we ended up returning all the parts. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my perception. What started as a positive visit ended with a significant loss of trust.

Our vehicle chose the early-morning hours to audition for the role of “large driveway ornament,” which was not exactly on the schedule. I called before the shop even opened, fully expecting voicemail, panic and maybe a little dramatic staring into the distance. Instead, Jay answered. Before opening. That is not customer service. That is mechanic magic. Jay listened, understood the issue quickly, confirmed the troubleshooting I had already done and gave me clear guidance and a quote within minutes. He was calm, knowledgeable, optimistic and exactly the kind of person you want on the other end of the phone when your day has gone sideways before breakfast. I would normally head straight to the dealer for this kind of repair, but Jay earned my trust before the doors were even open. He kept me updated, the team finished far ahead of schedule and the whole experience went from “uh-oh” to “we’re good” faster than expected. Greulich’s didn’t just fix the car. They fixed the mood. Highly recommend this shop. Jay deserves a raise, a trophy or at least the good donuts in the break room.

I took my car to Greulich's Automotive Repair for some major work three motor mounts and an intake actuator which came out to about $2,400. Like most people, I’m always skeptical about big repairs because it’s hard to know what’s truly fair pricing. The good news is they did fix the issue, and my car is running properly now. The service writer “J” came across as honest and communicated well throughout the process, he did appear to understand my frustration, which I appreciated. My only hesitation is the cost , it’s a lot of money, and it naturally makes you question things. But quality work isn’t cheap, and they did complete the repair as promised. Overall, it was a professional experience with mixed feelings mainly around the price, but I do appreciate that the problem was resolved.

I had an appointment to drop my vehicle off this morning but after interacting with the guy at the check in desk felt it was best to take my business else ware. He made it clear he is smarter than the rest of us. My story is too long to share any further, but i wont do business here.

I appreciated the follow-up text and phone call letting me know it was ready. The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the entire process.
